William J. Melvin, 77 of Rio, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Columbia Healthcare Center in Wyocena.

William was a machinist for many years. He loved motorcycles, the farm, and horses.

Survivors include his children William (Joanne), Amie (Joe), and Andrew; grandchildren, Danielle (Adam), Sanders, Gerick, Cleo, Adam, Luke; great-granddaughter, Natalie; sisters Judy (William) and Delores. Per William's wishes, no formal services will be held.
