William Johnson Jr.

William A. Johnson Jr., age 67 of Fall River, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026 at The Meadows of Fall River. He was born July 29, 1959 in Rio to William and Sharon Johnson.
William graduated from Rio High School in 1977. Following high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years. He later dedicated more than 30 years of his life to the United States Postal Service. William enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He especially loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing euchre and sharing good times with family and friends. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his dedication to his work and service to his country, and the memories he made with those who knew and loved him.
William will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his mother Sharon Johnson; brothers Jeff (Katie) Johnson, Scott (Katrena) Johnson and Daniel Johnson; cousins Matt Johnson and Denny Manthey; very good friends Brad (Sue) Johnsrud and Linda and family; several nieces, nephews and god daughters. He was preceded in death by his father William and his grandparents.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday. September 4, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Ohio Cemetery in Rio. Visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M. until the time of service on Friday. Internment will take place at Ohio Cemetery in Rio with Military Honors.
