Wanda Dixon of Packwaukee passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at UW Hospital in Madison. She was born on January 14, 1946, in Portage, to Chester and Wilma (Wakershauser) Grossmann.
She was a 1964 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School and married Donald Graff in 1972. In 1980 they moved to Colorado where Wanda received her bachelor’s degree in medical technology from the University of Southern Colorado and worked as a medical technologist. Don preceded Wanda in death in 1999 and five years after that she returned to Wisconsin. In 2009 Wanda married Lonnie Dixon and they moved to Packwaukee in 2015. Lonnie preceded Wanda in death in 2018.
Wanda is survived by her current husband, Frank Gnat, her only child, Tony Graff of Colorado, her grandchildren, Shayne, Scott and Cody Graff, her brother, Frank Grossmann, her sister, Fay (Jim) Burmeister and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her husbands, Don and Lonnie, she was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 29, at the Moundville United Methodist Church, W5501 County Road O, Endeavor, WI.
