Welcome to the memorial page for

Tracie T. Meredith

April 21, 1967 ~ June 24, 2015 (age 48) 48 Years Old

Pardeeville - Tracie T. Meredith, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 24, at UW Hospital in Madison with her only son at her side.

Tracie Taylor Meredith was born in Delaware on April 21, 1967 to Beverly and Frank Taylor.  A few years later after her father’s passing Arville Taylor married Beverly and became an important father figure in her life. After graduating from St. Mark’s High School, she worked for many years at her mother’s restaurant. As a young girl, Tracie loved spending many summers taking trips with her mother to Disney.

In 2000 Tracie moved with her son, Taylor, to the Pardeeville area. She joined and was an active member of the Wyocena Bureau of Fire for many years.  She also enjoyed bowling, although, her greatest joy was raising Taylor and watching him mature into a fine young man. She enjoyed watching him play football, basketball and baseball in his high school career. And she could be seen in the stands cheering him on at most of his games.  Tracie also loved to tell stories of the many times that Taylor and his friends would gather at their home.  Tracie was employed by HP of Madison for over 7 years, as well as McGlynn Pharmacy in Stoughton where she was a Pharmacy Tech. She was passionate about her work and always made sure she gave her all to the work at hand. She was a valued employee, good friend and touched the lives of many people in the community.

Tracie is survived by her son, Taylor Manuel of Pardeeville, and her aunts Jackie and Cathy, both of Delaware.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents and other close relatives and friends on the East Coast, Illinois and Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 at 5:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Pardeeville. Burial will follow at Pardeeville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 2 PM until the time of the service. A light supper will take place following the service at the Pardeeville High School baseball field concession stand in honor of Tracie’s love of baseball.  Please park in parking lot off of Schwantz Road.

In lieu of flowers, the Tracie Meredith Memorial Fund has been established at the Bank of Poynette in Pardeeville to assist Taylor with funeral expenses.

Mom:  You were the best mom a kid could ask for. I was always proud to be called your son. My life will be so changed without you, but you will always be with me in my heart.
