Theresa I. Miller

Theresa Irene (Powell) Miller, 64, of Pardeeville, walked into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Saturday, April 3, 2021 following a brave fight with cancer. She was born and raised in LaCrosse, to William and Marcia (Denton) Powell.

Theresa graduated from Central Sr. High School in LaCrosse and had a year of secretarial course at Winona Technical College. She spent most of her working career working at the Humane Society and Saputo Cheese Company both of Fond du Lac and where she made many lifelong friends. Theresa loved to travel, thrift shop, and spoil her grandchildren. She married Brian Miller June 15, 2016 in Campbellsport, Wisconsin. 

The loves of her life were family especially her sons Cory Rudie of Boscobel, Tyler Rudie of Boscobel, and Aaron (Nicole) Barret of Rosholt; step sons Tom (Jaime) Miller of Campbellsport and Dan (Abby) Miller of Plymouth; grandchildren Dayson Rudie, Samantha Miller, Harper Miller, Brittany Miller, and Cade Miller; siblings Julie (Erling) LaReau of Wyocena, Sara (Craig) Powell of Holmen, Steven (Teri) Powell of Trempealeau, Greg (Mary) Powell and John Powell both of Holmen; nieces Maria, Jayda, Jazlyn, Michelle, Nicole, Niki, and Virginia; nephews Jeffrey, Michael, and Joe, and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Brian, grandparents, brother Anthony Powell, nephew Jayme LaReau, and nieces Kristine Powell and Elizabeth Shimshack.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 10 at 1 PM at Grasse Funeral Home in Pardeeville with Rev. Justin O'Boyle officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until the time of service. The family would like to thank Agrace Hospice for their care and support, especially Shelly, RN. Forever remembered for her smile, quick wit, and generosity and she will always be in our hearts.
