Sue Ellen Steiner, age 77, of Portage, passed away April 28, 2025 at Hamilton Park Place in Portage. She was born February 29, 1948 in Portage, the daughter of Earl and Lila Steiner.

Sue graduated from Pardeeville High School in 1966 and went on to attend Madison Area Technical College, where she trained as a key punch operator. She began her career at First Wisconsin Bank in Madison and later worked at Northwoods in Portage. She found joy in reading, embroidery, and giving her time through volunteer work.

She is survived by her sisters Diana (Mike) Bradley and Janet (Paul) Goodman; sister-in-law Susan Steiner; nieces and nephews, Kimberly (Joseph) Gaglio, Lindsey (Jeremy) Brehm, Jacob Sanborn, Bryan (Amy) Steiner, and Sarah (Eric) Lynch; great nieces and nephews Francesca Gaglio, Liliana Brehm, Lachlan Brehm, Kayleigh Steiner, Jaina Steiner, Natalie Lynch, Audrey Lynch, and Tinley Steiner. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Cheryl Steiner and brother John Steiner.

There will be a private family service held May 9, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Brandel officiating, following with a graveside service at Pardeeville Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the family of Sue. She will be missed by her loving family. May she rest in peace.
