Sonja Mae (Johnson) Joyce 85, of Pardeeville, Wisconsin passed away on September 13, 2025 at the Columbia Health Care Center after a several year battle with cancer. Sonja was born in Escanaba, Michigan on May 2’nd of 1940.
Sonja was a hairdresser and she loved nothing more than playing Bingo. She also loved playing cards and shooting pool.
Sonja is survived by her 4 children, William W. Johnson, Cheryl Anderson and Lisa Hall all of Pardeeville, WI; and Dennis Hall of Nashville, TN. She has one surviving sister, Irene Johnson of Eben, Michigan. Sonja has 7 grandchildren and 20 great- grandchildren. Sonja was proceeded in death by one daughter, Theresa Johnson of Gladstone, MI. Her father and mother, William and Helmi Johnson. One brother, Elmer Seppanen, and Sisters Lila Maki and Nancy Larson.
Sonja will surely be missed. Sonja requested that her body be given for science to UW. We would like to thank the Columbia Health Care Center for the wonderful care she received. No services will be held.
