Shirley Jean Baumgarten, age 87, of Loganville, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Casa de Oakes in Reedsburg, WI. She was born September 20, 1937 in Baraboo, WI to Harold and Ruth Martin.

Shirley married Gordon Baumgarten October 15, 1955. Shirley was a dedicated and hardworking individual, employed for many years at RS & L in bookkeeping. In addition to her professional career, she was an active and devoted member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Loganville, WI, where she participated in various church groups. She enjoyed baking and gardening. She will be remembered for her warm heart, kindness, strong faith, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Dean (Vicky) Baumgarten, Dan (Marianne) Baumgarten, and Denise Baumgarten; special daughter Barb Marston; grandchildren Jenny (John) Albers, Joel (Tiffany) Baumgarten, Jess (Aaron) Bauer, Tara Baumgarten, and Paul Baumgarten; great grandchildren Ephraim and Thomas Albers, Benjamin and Emma Baumgarten, and Olive and Milo Bauer; sisters Bev (Roger) Caflisch, Jan Shriner, and Donna (Dave) Griffin; and sister in law Doris (Phil) Fish. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Baumgarten; infant son; and many other relatives.

A memorial service will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 at 3:30 P.M. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Loganville, WI. A visitation will be held at 2:00P.M.until the time of service on Monday. Interment will be held at the St. Peter's Cemetery.
