Sandra L. Sletten, age 82, of Stoughton, formerly of Pardeeville, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Kettle Park Senior Living. She was born on October 30, 1943, in Madison, the daughter of Robert and Esther (Pritchard) Kolstad. She married Rodney Sletten in August 1963 in Vernon County. She was employed at WPS in the accounting department as a clerk for 16 years until her retirement in 2001. 

Sandra was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness and warm sense of humor. A lifelong resident of Madison, she later moved to the Pardeeville area where she balanced family and community involvement. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Pardeeville, serving as past president of the Ladies Aid and volunteering at the church's Christian day school. She enjoyed bird watching, traveling, bowling and knitting, or you could find her completing a sudoku puzzle.  

She is survived by her children: Julie Sletten (Raymond Hawkins) of Madison, Jodie Uhalt of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Robert Sletten (Kerri Hilbelink) of Madison; grandchildren: Jade, Jake, and Jewel Uhalt. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Esther Kolstad; her husband Rodney; her siblings, Donna Day, James Kolstad, and Kenneth Kolstad; and her son-in-law, Jay Uhalt.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 2 at 11 AM at St. John Lutheran Church in Pardeeville with Rev. James Plocher officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 A.M. until the time of service at the church Thursday. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Madison. The family thanks the staff at Kettle Park and SSM Hospice for their compassionate care.
