Sandra L Gosnell Obituary

Sandra Lee (Price) Gosnell, 67 yrs, passed away at UW Hospital in Madison on September 17, 2025, after suffering a heart attack on September 13, 2025. She was born to Stanley and Marlene (Lobeck) Price on August 6, 1958, at Divine Savior Hospital, Portage, WI. She attended and graduated from Rio Public School in 1976 and later earned her bachelor’s degree in finance. Sandi was employed at Covance with 40 years in her career before retiring at the end of 2022.

She will be remembered for her many years of bowling in various leagues where she frequently contributed to her teams’ victory with her high scores. In addition to bowling she loved to knit and crochet, gardening, cooking and attending classic car shows. The yellow ’57 Chevy she shared with her fiancé Tim Mace was one of her pride and joys, she loved the members of their car show family and was very proud of the many awards presented to them. Her grandson James was her sidekick and often seen assisting with her projects and endeavors.

She is survived by her fiancé Tim Mace, her sons Christopher Gosnell (Abbey Voth) and daughter Quinn, Robert Gosnell (Myra Burkett), Matthew Gosnell and son James (James mother Audrey Grunewald and her fiancé Aaron Genske), Tim’s daughters Jessika Mace (Jason Melvin) and her children Riley Frion (Dan Keller) and Kaden Frion (Addie Dolgner), Tierney Mace (Derrick Gruenberg) and her daughter Leah Marshall; sister Paula (Robert) Karlsbroten, nieces Heather Kreier, Kelsey Jo Price (Ben Foerster) and their children Kacen, Elijah, Syris and Murphy; nephews Robert Kreier and Joshua Price and her two cats Callie and Dill Pickle.

Her parents, brothers Scott and Steven and fiancés parents Harold and Marion Mace preceded her in death. A celebration of her life will be held later.

The family would like to send the utmost thanks and gratitude to the staff of UW Hospital Trauma & Life Support Center, Neurology Department, Chaplain and all other supporting departments that provided many acts of kindness and love in addition to their expert care to keep Sandi peaceful and comfortable in her final days.

Gone too soon. Rest in peace.  We still can’t believe you’re gone. Life feels a little dimmer without your laugh, your warmth, your spirit. We’ll carry your memory with us, always.
