Sally L. Conroy

Sally L. (Richards/Sasman) Conroy, passed on to her next adventure Wednesday, March 18, 2026. She will join the rest of her family in heaven, already doing angel things.

Sally had a full life with wonderful family and friends. With her husband of 60 years, John P. Conroy, they had 4 sons: Michael B. Conroy, James P. (Ginger) Conroy, Daniel L. (Amy) Conroy, and Timothy J. (Mindy Tomkinson) Conroy, 5 Grandchildren: Mark Conroy, Sarah (Justin Roudebush) Conroy, Justin (Alyssa) Conroy, Kaitlin Conroy, and Courtney Conroy, 3 Great Grandchildren: Easton Roudebush-Conroy, Sawyer Conroy and Amara Conroy. Special Nieces: Ammie (David) Gough, Julie (Gary) Thornton. Special Nephew: Kenny Sasman. She had some special friends: Lynn McGrew, Vicky Petry, Jeanne Vasquez, Kathi (Don) Schroeder & Family & Peggy Morse. She made friends wherever she went and was especially fond of her friends at the Dairyland Restaurant and the Wyocena Community Church as well as many other family & friends.

Sally was born in Kalamazoo, MI, grew up in Madison attending Madison West. Sally suffered a bad car accident when she was 18. She worked at Cuna Inc & WPS. Sally & John lived mostly in the Madison area and spent several years in McFarland, WI. In her later years she lived with her son and daughter in law in Wyocena. Sally enjoyed bowling, being outside in the sunshine, painting ceramics and crafts, reading books and writing a novel, making cards, crocheting and knitting and especially gardening and her flowers. She had quite a light show in her garden in the summer. She absolutely loved her hugs from her grandchildren and beamed when she got to spend time with them. Anyone that knew her loved her smile and beautiful soul. She liked to dress up and have her nails done and go out for Friday supper.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband John P. Conroy, her parents: Mother: Marion (Snow/Richards) Sasman, Father: Russell J. Richards, Adopted Father: Eugene L. Sasman, 2 brothers: Russell (Mary) Sasman and Gale (Deanna) Sasman.

Funeral service for Sally will be held Saturday, April 11 at 12 Noon at Grasse Funeral Home in Pardeeville with Rev. Mark Brandel officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service.
