Ronald Kalepp

Ronald R. Kalepp, age 82 of Reedsburg, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital with his family by his side. He was born January 30, 1942 in Western Springs, IL to Fred and Marion Kalepp.

Ronald married Karen A. Henke on July 1, 1961 in LaValle. He attended Webb High School in Reedsburg. He was a dairy farmer for many years. Ronald also drove a semi truck for 30 years and ran a whitewashing business.  He enjoyed cutting wood with friends. He liked watching Nascar and watching the Packers play. He liked to listen to satellite radio.

Ronald is survived by his wife Karen of 63 years; son Doug Kalepp; granddaughter Alysha Kalepp; great grandson Jack Lyon; brothers David Kalepp and Gary (Holly) Kalepp; sisters Ruth (Doug) Paul and Susan (Dennis) Karstetter; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Marion Kalepp; son Daniel Kalepp; brother Tom Kalepp; and brother in law Vernon Henke.

There will be a private family service at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in LaValle. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 14 at the Border Riders Club on 3812 Rabuck Rd. Ironton  from 1 to 4. We will miss his great sense of humor that kept us all laughing.
