Philip Bernard Weisensel, age 69, of Pardeeville, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, August 17, 2024. Philip was born April 19, 1955 in Columbus, WI to Bernard and Ethel Weisensel.

He married the love of his life Pamela Sue Young on August 27, 1983 in Sun Prairie. WI. Philip graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1973. He worked for the Bruce Company, a sod farm and tree nursery for more than 25 years. Philip took pride in gardening and farming. He loved and was so proud of his family. A man who would do anything for his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed babysitting his grandbabies and watching his grandkids show their animals and play sports. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and hunting. 

Philip is survived by his wife Pamela; his children Jason Weisensel (Kate Renner) of Rio, WI, Krystal (Dave) Beedle of New Market, MN, Kimberly (Wayne) Berg of Pardeeville, WI, Melissa (Tony) Peterson of LaFarge, WI, and Bryan (Nicole) Weisensel of Pardeeville, WI; grandchildren, Lauren, Jackson, Cameron, Griffen, Abigale, Rylee, Taylor, Avery, Bella, Deagan, Bronson, Gunner, Braxton, Bowden, and Izaya; sister Darlene Westphal; special nephews Kevin Koch and David Schoenherr; honorary grandkids Lily and Sydney Renner; and other nieces, nephews, sister and brother-in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Ethel Weisensel; brother Michael Weisensel; sister Susan and brother-in-law Ken Koch; sister Joyce and brother-in-law Gerald Schoenherr; and father and mother-in-law Loren and Rosella Young.

A memorial celebration will be held Friday, September 6 at Grasse Funeral Home in Pardeeville from 3 PM until 7 PM.
