Paul J. Martin, age 64, of Poynette, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026. He was born January 5, 1962 in Appleton to George (Pat) and Elizabeth (Bette).

In 1964, Paul moved with his family from Appleton to Sun Prairie, and in 1974 they settled on “the farm” in Keyser, where many lasting memories were made. He attended Columbus High School. In 1988, Paul married Sue Nass, and divorced 8 years later. He was especially happy to reconnect with his stepdaughter, Rachel Dunn, a relationship that meant a great deal to him. Over the years, he worked as a carpenter, truck driver, and bar owner, jobs that reflected his strong work ethic and wide range of skills.

In his free time, Paul loved fishing, hunting, and cooking. He enjoyed sharing good food and good company, and he appreciated time spent outdoors.

Paul is survived by his sisters Mary, Jane, Patricia, Ann, and Helen; brother Timothy; 15 nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Michael; and good friend Mike Sharpee.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Hampden Town Hall.
