Patti Youra Obituary

Patti (Brown) Youra was born on March 17, 1946 to Gerald and Dorothy Brown. They were lifelong residents of Pardeeville and the area. Patti loved her hometown and had no problem staying here after meeting and marrying Kenwood Youra. They met at Pardeeville High School and were married 6 months later. A marriage that lasted 55 years and produced 2 wonderful sons, Jason (Karissa), who lives in Portage and Jerry, who lives in  Fond du Lac.

Patti loved teaching and her students. Her students kept in touch with her all through their lives. Many of them in health-related careers, which she taught. She loved her gardens and flowers. She valued her friends and always tried to stay in touch as much as possible. More than anything, she loved her granddaughters Elizabeth and Nola, who came from the union of Jason and Karissa. As much as poor health took away from her retirement years, being with the girls and watching them grow was her reward in her later years.

A special thank you to Dr. Jill Pogorelec and the staff on the 2nd floor of the Aspirus-Divine Savior. Dr. Jill worked diligently with Patti trying to improve a difficult health situation. There is so much to be said for Peace finally coming to someone who has been in so much pain.
