Patricia Axness, age 85, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026 surrounded by the love and memories of family and friends, whose lives she touched so deeply throughout her years in Wisconsin and Illinois. She was born April 13, 1941 in Dubuque, IA.

Patricia graduated from Westosha Central High School in Paddock Lake, WI and carried her hardworking spirit and vibrant personality with her throughout her life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, whose warmth, humor, and unmistakable sass brought joy to those around her.

Throughout her life, Patricia worked hard and wore many hats. She owned and operated her own barbershop, Top Cuts, in Davenport, IA, managed Terrace Oaks Apartments in Peru, IL and also worked at a Kmart in New Berlin, WI. She always brought dedication and personality wherever she went. She had the gift of connecting with people and never met a stranger for long.

Patricia found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved watching WWF, later WWE, faithfully keeping up with the news and spending time with her beloved pets, dogs Ebony, Penny, Tippi, and Pickles and her cat Buffy. She was known for her quick wit and playful spirit. She loved being sassy and pulling pranks on those she loved, always keeping laughter close at hand.

She leaves behind her loving children, Dawn (Fred) Harvey, Jeff Reynolds and Danny (Bridget) Wilmot. She was a proud grandmother to Tamra Fischer, Stephen (Tara) Heggie, David (Stephanie) Bader, Kelsey (Brad) Mitchell and DJ. She was blessed with her great-grandchildren, Joseph, Autumn, Parker, Paxton, Paisley, Lucas, Tyler, Anna, Rose, Brayden and Marlee, who brought endless happiness and pride.

She was preceded in death by her husbands William Reynolds Sr., Henry Wilmot and David Axness; her parents Gerald and Florence Nash; and sister Gerrilee Nash.

Patricia will be remembered for her strength, sense of humor and the love she gave so freely to her family. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered and the generations she helped shape.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered, always.

There will be a Celebration of Life Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Pardeeville Senior Center at 113 Industrial Dr. Pardeeville, WI.
