She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Melvin Richert, whom she married May 27, 1950, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Together, they built a life full of love and cherished memories.
Mickey was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her nurturing and selfless nature will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mickey spent nearly 26 years working at Flambeau and in her retirement, she had a passion for camping, and fishing while out enjoying the world. In addition to her love for family and her dogs, Mickey enjoyed gardening, and spending time in nature. She had a green thumb and took great pride in her beautiful gardens.
Mickey will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those who knew and loved her. Her kind spirit, loving heart, and warm smile will forever be cherished in their hearts.
She is survived by her daughter Joy (Les) Parrish, sons; Steven (Jessica) Richert, and Daniel (Lisa) Richert, 4 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren,8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and one on the way, sister; Bernice Herritz, and sister-in-law Lavern Wagner, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
