Mildred "Millie" I. Uphoff

Mildred I. "Millie" Uphoff, 88 of Reedsburg passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the Sauk County Health Care Center. She was born July 9, 1935, in Baraboo Wisconsin, the daughter of Ora J. and Winnifred I. (Burgess) Barnes.

She graduated from Baraboo High School in 1953. After high school Millie went to work at Industrial Coils in Baraboo. She later held positions at Reedsburg Foods, Gerber, and Land's End. She had a great love for her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved dogs. She also loved to garden. She was involved with the Reedsburg Wrestling Booster Club.

Survivors include her children, Tammy Dorrance (Dave), and Rob Uphoff (Anne); Grandchildren; Emily Dorrance, Evan Uphoff, Clarice (Uphoff) Stoddard (Austin), Thomas Dorrance and Chloe Uphoff; one great grandchild, Grace Stoddard. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Barnes.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 21 at 11 AM at Grasse Funeral Home in Reedsburg with visitation starting at 10 AM until time of the service. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Stone Cemetery in Rock Springs. Visitation will be held Monday, November 20 from 4to 7 PM at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Sauk County Humane Society.
