Mark F. Villavicencio II Obituary
Mark F. Villavicencio II, lovingly known as “Marky,” passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the age of 49. He was born in Portage and was a proud graduate of the Pardeeville High School Class of 1995. A lifelong presence in the Pardeeville and Rio areas, Marky will be remembered for his kind heart, genuine spirit, and the unforgettable way he made others feel.
He is survived by his father, Mark F. Villavicencio I; his siblings, Nikki Villavicencio-Tollison (Darrell Paulsen), Kara Guler (Brad), Stephan Hodgson (Amber), his step-siblings Chad Miller (Samantha), and Amy Schleiss (Douglas); and his paternal grandmother, Mary Villavicencio. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews who brought him endless joy from the moment they entered his life.
Marky is further survived by his partner, Corinne Winter and her son Gunner, and dear friends Rusty Schiradelly, Howard Jerome, Sarah Villavicencio, and many, many others.
He is also survived by his uncles, Philip Villavicencio (Donna), David Villavicencio (Teresa), and Mark Werner (Lisa); his aunts, Lisa Handley (Brian) and Cindy Schroeder (Jeff); and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Wendy Werner; his stepmother, Valerie Villavicencio; his maternal grandmother, Lois Woodman; and his grandfathers, Celso Villavicencio, Kenneth Werner, Kenneth Schwanz, and Ernest Woodman.
Marky had a deep love for the outdoors, with fishing, especially ice fishing, being his greatest passion. He found peace in nature, whether hiking, exploring, or collecting rocks like his mother once did. He loved watching sunsets, taking in the quiet beauty of the moment. He cherished time spent with family and friends, and nothing made him happier than adventuring with his dogs. A natural handyman, Marky could fix just about anything and was always willing to lend a hand, often giving the shirt off his back to help someone in need.
He worked for many years at Apel Insulation and Didion Inc. before pursuing a path he was truly excited about, partnering with R&M Fencing and Deck. He took pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way.
Those who knew Marky will never forget his one-of-a-kind personality. He always seemed to know exactly what to say, offering comfort, humor, or honesty when it was needed most. He had the biggest heart, a contagious smile, and a laugh so unique it will echo in the memories of those who loved him. He stood up for what was right and was always there for others without hesitation.
Marky often spoke of the day he would be reunited with his beloved dogs—Dexter (“Bubba Lou”), Lolabella, and Chloe—who brought him immeasurable joy. It brings comfort to know he is now reunited with them in Heaven, receiving endless puppy kisses and wrapped in the love and embrace of his mothers whom he missed so deeply, welcomed home into God’s kingdom.
He will be profoundly missed, and the love he gave so freely will live on in all who knew him, leaving an imprint on our hearts that time can never erase.
