Marjorie Anne (Wing) Van Swol, age 86, of Pardeeville, passed away on January 10, 2024, at Columbia Health Care Center in Wyocena. She was born February 6, 1937 in Pardeeville, WI, the daughter of Russell Harlow and Lucy Adaline Wing.

Her father worked for the Columbia County Highway Department. In May of 1944 the family moved to Marcellon Township, where she lived for most of her life. She attended the Pardeeville Grade School and Ebenezer William School, a one room country school. She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Pardeeville, where she was baptized and married Morris Van Swol Jr. Marjorie dearly loved her little dachshund Otto. She was a kind soul, knowing many, and speaking poorly of none. She shall be missed.

Survivors include her son Stuart (Sue) Van Swol; daughter Sherrill (Carl) Neess; sister Fern (Roger) Bessac; grandchildren, Russ (Maria) Van Swol and Amanda (Van Swol) (Aaron) Beaugrand; and great grandchildren, Macy Beaugrand, Paisley Beaugrand, and Evan Van Swol. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Lucy; her brother Spencer Wing; and little Otto.
