Lorelei was the kind of person everyone should have in their life. Her infectious smile and loving hugs warmed everybody's hearts. Lorelei loved to help others and wanted to be a middle school or high school math teacher. She taught Sunday School and VBS at the Methodist Church and often helped classmates who were struggling in school.
Lorelei was always taking on leadership roles and responsibilities in the organizations in which she was involved. She was secretary of the Drama Club, Sophomore Class officer, Educators Rising, Future Business Leader of America, Spanish Club, Art Club, Sources of Strength, and Forensics. She loved singing, acting and Broadway musicals. She would vacation in New York City every year just to see shows if she could. She acted in school productions and Zona Gale
She played in the high school band, was a member of the choir, show choir and solo ensemble. Lorelei was looking forward to playing Queen Aggravain in Pardeeville High School’s musical Once Upon a Mattress in February. Lorelei’s favorite sport was softball, but she also played volleyball, was a powerlifter and had played on basketball teams in middle school.
During the summer she worked at Silver Springs Campground and Creek Bed Country Farmacy and was looking forward to working at those places again this year. Lorelei loved the Pardeeville Watermelon Festival and was an active participant since she was old enough to spit a watermelon seed. As she grew older, she helped design, paint and operate games at the festival.
She is survived by her parents; her sister Elaine; grandparents Jeanne Schultz of Cambria and Ada Randall of Taos, NM.; Uncle Tom (Denise) Hepler of Cambria; Aunt Teri (Molly) Hepler of La Crosse and Uncle Terry Randall of Albuquerque, NM.
