Leonne Jeanette (Meder) Kick, known affectionately as Lee to her husband, friends and siblings, and mom to her sons, at the age of 97, passed away September 11, 2024, at Skaalen Assisted Care Facility in Stoughton, WI, surrounded by her family. She was born June 23, 1927 in Harvey, IL, the daughter of Walter J. Meder and Inga O. (Gunderson) Meder.

Lee married Frank J. Kick March 15, 1952 in Hazel Crest, IL and shared over 41 years together. She was a manager/owner for 4 years at the Butternut Franklin Lodge and was employed at various companies doing keypunching, sewing curtains, upholstering furniture, electronics soldering and an Accountant for Central Paper Products. Lee loved and was loved by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, cards, ceramics, crocheting, crafts, watching plays, ice skating competitions, the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. Lee was a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church in Stoughton. She was a lifelong member of the American Legion. 

Lee is survived by her two sons Joseph (Carol) Kick of Westfield, IN and Frank (Anna) Kick of DeForest, WI; 6 grandchildren, Brenda (Nathan Cotts) Kick, Casey (Bridgett) Kick, Katy (Ryan) Kenny, Jennifer (Eric Schultze) Kick, Dane and Haley; 4 great children, Jaxton and Sawyer Cotts and Clara and Lillian Kick; siblings, Raymond (Marilyn) Meder of FL, and Marie (James) Filer of Burlington, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank; her son John; brothers Wendell, Walter and Jerome Meder; sisters Inez Pederson, Judith Baker, and Theresa Watts; and several in-laws.

Funeral Services for Lee will be held 11 AM, Friday, October 4, 2024 at Grasse Funeral Service in Pardeeville, WI. Visitation will be held 10 AM until the time of service on Friday. Inurnment will take place at the Pardeeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Anne Church of Stoughton, WI or Agrace Hospice Care, Fitchburg, WI. The family would like to thank Agrace Hospice Care for all of their wonderful care.
