Kathryn A. Amend, age 82 of Doylestown, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 at Columbus Nursing & Rehab. She was born November 7, 1942, the daughter of Stanley and Mary Alice (Kehoe) Stofflet.

Kay attended cosmetology school and worked as a beautician and owned and operated The Style Shop in Rio for many years. She married Irving Fagan and had 3 children together. Many years later she married John "Terry" Amend. 

Kay enjoyed making beautiful crocheted throws, each piece will be cherished by her family forever. Kay also had a soft spot for her cats, who were a constant source of comfort and companionship.

Kay loved to go shopping. She found enjoyment in small things, like visiting the casino and scratching off lottery tickets. But most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family. Kay deeply enjoyed life with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She had her ups and downs with her younger sister, but Kay always "won".

Survivors include her children; Lisa Kay Fagan-Brown, Charlie (Mary) Fagan, John Fagan, Pete Amend, Jac Amend, Thom Amend; 4 grandchildren, Amelia, Montana, Shawna, Shania; brother Stan (Nora) Stofflet, and sister Sandy (Jerry) Wall. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands; and 2 brothers Richard and Donnie Stofflet.
