Kathleen A. Johnson Obituary
Kathleen (Kat) Sabin Johnson, 62 of Pardeeville, WI passed away peacefully at home June 11,2023 surrounded by her family after a four-year battle with Stage IV Lung Cancer. She was born November 3, 1960, to Caroline and Edward Sabin Jr. in Fort Leonard Wood Missouri.
After graduating from Gloucester High School in Gloucester, Virginia Kat proudly served her country in the United States Navy and Army where she met the love of her life, William Johnson. In their 39 years together, they brought three children into the world, William Jr., Nicholas, and Haley. William and Kathy were also blessed with four grandchildren, Caden, Austyn, Declan, and Griffin Johnson. In her free time, you could find her watching the Travel Channel, sports, or sharing snacks with Buster, her beloved fur baby. She was a hot-wing enthusiast and collected more movies than Blockbuster.
Kathy is survived by her husband; William, her children William Jr. (Alexis Johnson), Nicholas, Haley (Kyle Genske), and many loving family members. She is preceded in death by her mother Caroline; father Edward, three brothers, Michael, Kenneth, and Edward Sabin, and sister-in-law Theresa Johnson.
The Johnson family will be hosting a private celebration of life for Kathy. We would personally like to thank Agrace hospice care and the UW Carbone Cancer Center, with a special thank you to Dr. Anne Traynor for the care and support during Kathy’s cancer journey.
