Katherine E. Hepler Obituary

Aged 59, Kathy Hepler of Pardeeville, was discovered to have passed away in her residence  on Friday, the 20th of February, 2026.

Born on June 20th, 1966, in North Carolina, Kathy was the cherished wife of Bruce Hepler,  the beloved daughter of Kenneth E. Bryant and Kristina Clark, and the respected daughter in-law of Donald and Beverly Hepler. Her formative years were spent in Spring Grove,  Illinois, where she received her education at Grant Community High School in Fox Lake.  Kathy dedicated many years of her life to the compassionate care of adults facing  emotional challenges at the Waukegan Development Center in Waukegan, Illinois and  Kristen House in Pardeeville Wisconsin. It was in the early 1990s that she met her  soulmate, Bruce Hepler, and their union was solemnized in 1992.

The newlyweds soon established their life together in Bruce's hometown of Pardeeville,  Wisconsin, embarking on a journey of shared dreams and aspirations. Kathy's heart  overflowed with joy at the arrival of her two sons, Jake and Jason Hepler. She embraced the  role of a devoted stay-at-home mother, pouring her heart and soul into raising her boys,  for whom she would have moved mountains. As a grandmother, Kathy found immense  delight in her granddaughters, Alexis & Alice Hepler, showering them with affection and  cherishing every moment spent in their company. Her father, Kenneth E. Bryant's passing,  marked a profound turning point, yet the unwavering love and purpose she found in her  sons and later, her granddaughters, served as a guiding light through those challenging  times.

The sudden and unexpected departure of her husband, Bruce Hepler, in 2019, left Kathy  deeply heartbroken. Despite the immense grief, she demonstrated remarkable resilience,  her sons and granddaughters continuing to be her steadfast anchors.

In the years that followed Bruce's passing, Kathy faced a series of heart-wrenching losses,  including her brother-in-law Brian Hepler, her father-in-law Donald Hepler, her beloved  son Jason Hepler, and her dear mother Kristina Clark. The loss of Jason was an  unimaginable blow. While the Hepler name was familiar in the close-knit community of  Pardeeville, few could truly grasp the profound sorrow Kathy bore from the multitude of  bereavements. Simple acts, like rising from bed, became a Herculean task, yet she  persevered. Through the relentless tide of sorrow and pain, she bravely pressed onward,  finding renewed purpose with the unwavering support of her son Jake Hepler, her brothers  Ken Bryant, Eric Blomquist, and Tommy Clark, and a constellation of devoted friends.

Although life had presented her with complex choices, Kathy possessed an unparalleled  kindness. To have known Kathy was to have encountered a soul with a heart as vast as the  ocean, an individual who would selflessly extend herself for family, friends, and even  complete strangers, embodying the truest spirit of human generosity.
