Judith M. Ribbke, age 85, formerly of Reedsburg, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025 at Tennyson Assisted Living in Madison. She was born on March 18, 1940 in Chicago, the daughter of Edward and Grace (Posvic) Irlbacker. 

On May 7, 1960, she married Bryant Farr; they divorced in 1982. She married Robert Ribbke on April 30, 1983. Judy worked in bookkeeping for several dairy and farm related businesses. She was also a leader of the 4H club her children belonged to. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing cards, square dancing, baking Christmas cookies with her kids and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rock Springs.

Survivors include her nine children, Scott Ribbke, Joseph (Carolyn) Farr, David (Natalie) Ribbke, Joanne (Michael) Beda, James (Elizabeth) Farr, John (LuAnne) Farr, Charles "Mike" Ribbke, Candace (Curtis) Swartz and Sean Ribbke; nineteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Kathie Black, Jan Hannaway, Linda (Bruce) Poulsom and Barb (Mike) Gentile; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert, and brothers-in-law Jack and Rich.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rock Springs with Pastor David Karow officiating. There will be a visitation from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the time of service on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
