Judith A. Barnard, age 85, of Poynette passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the University Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born October 13, 1938 in Superior  WI, the daughter of Marshall and Ethern Sayen.

Judy married Frank K. Barnard on July 9, 1960 in Superior. After high school she completed her Medical Technologist schooling at St. Luke Hospital in Duluth MN. She worked in the Allergy Research Department at the UW Hospital. She enjoyed walking, camping, and birdwatching. Judy designed and made most of her own clothing. She also did missionary work in Shell, Ecuador in 1984.

Survivors include her husband Frank; brothers Roger Sayen and James Sayen; son Brett Barnard and daughter-in-law JJ Barnard. She was preceded in death by her parents Marshall and Ethern Sayen; brother Marshall Sayen; son Mark Barnard and daughter Dana Roberts.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 9 at 3 PM at Grace Presbyterian Church in Pardeeville with Senior Pastor Chuck Walton and Youth Pastor Michael Muscanero co-officiating.
