Jonathan "Toad" C Howe

Jonathan C. "Toad" Howe, 60 of Rio, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at his home. He was born August 12, 1962 in Portage, the son of Joe and Maxine (Hamilton) Howe.

Jon graduated from Rio High School in 1980. He worked for Olan Mills Photography for many years. He was most recently employed at Total Wall. Jon enjoyed spending time at "the river", camping, and fishing, and was always singing wherever he was. He also was an avid sports fan and loved playing cards.

Survivors include daughters; Shelby of Oshkosh and Betsy Jo of Beaver Dam; step daughters, Angi, Hannah, and Emily Olson; granddaughter Natalie Jacques; grandsons Victor and Everett Harring; brothers P.T. Howe, Tim (Patty) Howe, Terry Howe, Jeff (Cindy) Howe, Jerry Howe, Tony Howe, and Ron (Michelle) Howe; sisters Judy Howe and Ceil Saxe, many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Mike Howe; great niece Kaley, and nephew Jed.

A celebration of Jon's life will be held Sunday, January 15 from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Otsego Town Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
