Joanne D. (Lemiesz) Dykstra Obituary

Joanne D. Dykstra, 89 of Randolph, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023. She was born January 4, 1934. 

She farmed for many years, worked at Specialties Inc. in Beaver Dam for 25 years until her retirement. Joanne then worked part time at Columbus Motel doing housekeeping for a few years.

Her passion was working in her garden & canning, redoing antique and cane chairs, spending countless hours taking care of her lawn and caring for her many flower beds and planters. She also loved going for rides around the area, going to many different greenhouses, Jungs Garden Center in Randolph, and Lost Lake Greenhouse. She enjoyed cooking and baking and trying new recipes. The boy's favorite was her homemade baked beans. 

She is survived by sons, Russell & Marry Dykstra of Oshkosh, and Curtis C Dykstra Tomahawk; sister Phyllis Pesqueira of Fl, Alice Jean (Bob) Broder of Brandon, Bev (Bill) Fox of Markesan, Sue (Daniel) Schlutter of Plover; brother David Lemiesz of Colorado, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, and son Steven. 

A private graveside service will be held at Fountain Prairie Cemetery at a later date.
