Marshall/Sun Prairie - Jeffery P. Benzine, age 67, lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, May 15, 2025 in Cottonwood, AZ.  He was born on September 3, 1957 to Donald and Mary Anne (Schwoerer) Benzine.  

Jeff grew up in Otsego/Rio area graduating from Rio High School in 1975.  He held many jobs including, Landmark Services Cooperative, Cottage Grove, WI and owning and operating Benzine Bus Service for Rio Schools. Jeff lived in Pardeeville, Doylestown, Footville and Marshall before moving to Cottonwood, AZ.

He was a very kind and generous person putting everyone else ahead of himself.  He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne (Hohlstein) Benzine; father, Donald; daughter, Stacy Brabender; granddaughter, Josselyn; stepson, Jim (Helen) Aubart; and step-grandchildren, Abby and Bryce; siblings: Louise (Stan) Larson, Butch (Mary), Randy (Tracy), and Barry (Angela). Nieces and nephews: Melissa, Laura (James), Craig (Chyna), Darry, Briana (Tyler) and Bryce.  Great nieces and nephews: Sophie, Oscar, Max and Ada.

He was preceded in death by his mother, and niece, Linda Hookham. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jill (Peschl) and stepdaughter, Jenni.

A celebration of his life will be held on June 28, 2025 from 1-4pm at the Parkside Village Community Room, 6800 Parkside Circle, Deforest, WI.
