Harry M Watters Obituary

Harry Micheal Watters born July 16,1945 and passed away peacefully on August 28 surrounded by family.

Harry or Mike as he liked to be called was born on July 16th at the Columbus hospital to Edgar and Lilian Watters (nee Weinberger) he was the 5th oldest of the children. He graduated from Fall River High School in 1965. Dad’s career was fixing things he worked hard all his life as a mechanic at an Fall River Canning Company, then Sternweis implement dealer in Horicon and as a field mechanic for Seneca foods formally Friday canning factory among other jobs he held there.

Dad loved to hunt and fish it’s what he enjoyed the most but in the last few years he wasn’t able to do the things he loved. Dad loved old country music Patsy Cline and Jim Reeves were his favorites and of course you can’t forget the Barn show polka.

On January 30, 1971 he married to Jill Stancer and together they had three girls Jessica (Kevin) Lange Waupun Wi, Sarah Watters Fox Lake Wi and Emily Watters Waupun,Wi . He is survived by  siblings Karen Schultz of Fox Lake, Dick (Joann) Watters of Fox Lake, Patrick and (Sue) Watters Columbus Wi, Linda (George) McKay of Minog Wi, Thomas (Patsy) Watters  of Columbus, Larry Watters of Fall River Wi, and Mark Watters of Rio. Mike is also survived by Aunts and Uncles; many Nieces and Nephews and his special cousins Leslie Ann Jones and Diane Shinn McGill; His fur grand babies Harlow, Piper and Gemma.. He was proceeded in death by his parents Edgar and Lillian Watters; brothers Michael Thomas, Edgar Allen, Marion; sister Carol; brother in law Alfred Schwoch; and nephew Patrick.

Mike was a driver for many years with the Amish and has many good friends in that community and in general. He had good neighbors to help him out with a ride somewhere or to do things around the house he couldn’t do anymore and for that we are thankful. We would like to Thank St Agnes Hospital and staff of Fond du Lac Wi for their great care and compassion to him and our family. Thank you the special care givers along the way over the years that became our friends. Dad was not a fancy guy and would want everyone to be comfortable so casual is the way we are going. Dad did love John Deere so if you have some Kelly green wear it in his honor.
