Gladys Manthey Obituary

Gladys V. Manthey, 90, of Rio, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021. She was born to Alvin and Viola Schwartz November 21, 1930. She married Lester Manthey on April 3, 1954.

She is survived by her son William (Judy) Manthey; daughter Brenda (Tom) Winters; granddaughter Hannah Manthey; sister Judith Tietz, sister-in-law Delores Schwartz, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother Vernon Schwartz.

A private family graveside service with inurnment will take place at the Cambria Cemetery. A special thank you to Pastor Gumm, Drs. Krumpos and Song, Agrace, and family and friends for their support and care. Also a special thank you to Sheila Bahr, Karen Fleegal, and everyone at the Covenant Place for their kindness.
