Gary N. Gee Obituary

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Norman Gee, who departed this life peacefully at home, surrounded by love, March 11, 2025. Gary was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a cherished member of the community. His warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Lee Gee (Kuhn). He was a proud father to his daughter, Kerry Gee, and a loving father-in-law to Josh and daughter Connie Champion (Gee). His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Drew and Amber Mears, Joey and Grace Weisensel, Brady and Rikki Brewer, Joseph and Morgan Ballweg, and Jude Champion. Gary was also a loving great-grandfather to Gracie Ballweg, Bransen Brewer, Liliana Mears, and Arwin Brewer, who brought him immense joy and pride.

Gary dedicated his life to hard work and providing for his family. Gary retired as a farmer and plasterer, as well as working for Oscar Mayer for thirty-one years. He made lasting friendships and made countless memories by teaching and mentoring his crafts to those who could keep up with his tough resolve. His hands were skilled, but it was his heart that truly defined him. His deep appreciation for quarter horses was not just a hobby; it was a way of life that he shared with his family and friends. He loved the farm and horses so much that he bought a chuck wagon where he loved to show off his antique cowboy memorabilia and cooked over an open pit with the R&G Chuck Wagon Crew. Gary was a constant source of support and encouragement for his daughter’s sports and activities. He was the team’s biggest cheerleader attending every game, match and performance, proudly wearing their team colors and celebrating their achievements. Gary's enthusiasm for sports was infectious, and he brought Gatorade, popcorn and tuna fish sandwiches to share with the team. Gary was known for his unwavering support, his infectious laughter, and his ability to bring people together. He had a passion for storytelling, often sharing tales of his life experiences that captivated his audience and left them in stitches.

As we remember Gary, let us celebrate a life well-lived—a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to family and community. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and his legacy will continue through the generations he inspired.
