Duane E. Schulte

Duane Everett Schulte, 68 of Reedsburg, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, after a long battle with chronic health issues. Duane was born July 19, 1954, to Marlene and Everett Schulte of Loganville.

He was a 1972 graduate of Reedsburg High School and enlisted into the army spending time stationed in Germany. In 1981, Duane graduated with an associate degree from Madison Area Technical College and went on to have various jobs enjoying life in many different towns throughout Wisconsin. Duane was an avid fan of the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers and often spent his time at his favorite local place, Brewster’s Lanes, watching the games.

Duane is survived by his four brothers: Glenn (Mary) Schulte of Rock Springs; Randy (Kelly) Schulte of Pardeeville; Terry (Cheryl) Schulte of Mosinee; and Corey (Mandy) Schulte of LaValle; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Marlene and Everett Schulte.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11am at Zion Lutheran Stone Church with Rev. Leif Kratzke-Nelson officiating. Interment with full military honors presented by the Reedsburg American Legion will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9am until the time of service at the church.
