Douglas W Grosnick Obituary

Douglas W. Grosnick, age 82, of Pardeeville, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. He was born to Helen and Douglas Grosnick in Michigan. 


Douglas spent most of his childhood in Oshkosh. He attended high school in Shawano and later went on to study at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In 1964, he married Bonnie Abbott in Shawano. He later married Audrey Holt in Madison in 1991.


Doug was a dedicated small business owner, operating two grocery stores, Shorewood IGA and Doug’s IGA. Later in his career, he worked as an investment advisor with Piper Jaffray. Throughout his life, Doug enjoyed staying active and spending time outdoors. He especially loved boating, biking, fitness, and enjoying nature.


He is survived by his wife Audrey Holt-Grosnick; daughter Lisa J. Lorenzo; son Dean W. Grosnick; and nephew Brian Kiesow. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Helen Kiesow. 


Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Grasse Funeral Home in Pardeeville with Rev. Julie Waterdu and Rev. David Butler officiating. Visitation will be held 9:30 A.M. until the time of service on Thursday 


Memorials may be made out to Habitat for Humanity in honor of Douglas.
