Donald Jacob Wilken, 87 of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Randolph Health Services. He was born September 27, 1937, the son of John and Anna (Peters) Wilken.
Donald lived in various places over the years. He was united in marriage to Shirley Keichinger October 3, 1957 in Dane, Wisconsin. He worked as a welder and farmer for many years. He enjoyed fishing, reading, mowing the lawn, and helping in the garden. He also enjoyed being with his family and friends. He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Columbus.
Survivors include his children, Carol Burns, Donald (Emma) Wilken, Christine (Greg) Miller, Daniel (Jeanine) Wilken, Debra (Ricky) Baerwolf, Douglas (Jill) Wilken, David (Amy) Wilken, and Craig Wilken; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Judd and Bernice Kirsch, brother Dennis Wilken; in-laws, Ronald (Rosie) Keichinger, Jane Gehin, and Robert (Nancy) Keichinger. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, infant son Donald John Wilken, two daughters; Cheryl Wilken and Diane Wilken, his parents, and brother Dean Wilken.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 25 at 11 AM at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Columbus with Father Bala Kasipogu presiding. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Madison. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of service at the church Tuesday.
