Diana Lee Shallenberger, 63, of Pardeeville, WI, passed away January 10, 2025. Born June 10, 1961, in Fitchburg, MA, to Thomas A. and Janice P. DeFord, Diana was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She chose a lifelong career where she could be of service to those in need. Her career as a CNA began at Greentree Manor in Waterford, CT and ended with her service completed at Beechwood Manor in New London, CT. She touched many hearts and lives with her compassionate work. Her heart extended to her deep love of animals as well.

She is survived by her son Travis Shallenberger who was the Light of her Life and Love of her Soul; as well as her siblings, Debbie Walker of Pardeeville, WI, Thomas A. DeFord, Jr of Oakdale, CT, Brian (Mike) DeFord, Sr. of Oakdale, CT, Fred DeFord of Uncasville, CT, Pamelasue Hackley of Pardeeville, WI and Tammie Fuller and her husband David of Jennings, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Diana's wishes, she has been cremated. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date this year for family and close friends.
