Dennis Moran, age 80 of Rio, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024. He was born June 30, 1944 to Willard and Amelia (Robert) Moran.

Dennis made a hobby by being a gunsmith. He worked as a nurse while living in Arizona for a number of years. Dennis served in the Army for 3 years and found great comfort in prayer in being a man of God. Dennis loved his cats and had many throughout the years. He loved his nieces and nephews who called him “Unk” and enjoyed spending time with them on his favorite holiday, July 4th. 

Dennis is survived by his sisters Kathleen Johnson, Karen (Mike) Brynd, Sephanie Ford, and Donnell (Frank Haack); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Amelia (Robert) Martin; father Willard Moran; brother Robert Hicks; and brother-in-law Clifford Johnson.
