Denese Marie Holtz, age 69, of Reedsburg, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 25, 2025 at UW Health. She was born July 12, 1955 to Lyle and Jean (Suszycki) Holtz. She graduated from Webb High School in 1973. 

She is survived by her mother Jean M. Holtz of Reedsburg; brother Randy Holtz of Columbus; daughter Nicole (Jeff) Amundsen; grandchildren Gavyn, Jakob and Brenna; great grandchildren Huxley, Millie, and Novah; aunts Bernie Holtz and Helen Grover; and along with several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Lyle H. Holtz; maternal grandparents Don and Marie Suszycki; and paternal grandparents Paul and Sara Holtz.

Denese was an avid reader and enjoyed cross stitching. She truly loved living at Maple Ridge with the friendly caring people there. She enjoyed the parties, pot lucks, happy hour, and of course cards. Many thanks to all for your kindness and caring during this difficult time.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
