Della Marie Griffin

Della Marie Griffin, 86 of Reedsburg, died peacefully Friday, May 12, 2023 at the Sauk County Health Care Center. The daughter of Herman and Adela (Radatz) Muchow was born November 26, 1936. She became a child of God through Holy Baptism December 13, 1936. She was confirmed in the Christian faith  June 5, 1949. Della graduated from Lime Ridge high school in 1954. 

On March 25, 1963, she was united in marriage to Gary Duane Griffin at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Hillpoint WI. She worked at Hankscraft for almost forty years. Della enjoyed crocheting, walking, baking cookies and visiting with family and friends.

Della is survived by one sister-in-law Dolores Muchow, and by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty nine years, Duane; one sister Grace, five brothers, Ernest, Raymond, Marvin, Roger and Harlen, and two nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 16,  at 11 AM at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Hillpoint, WI with Pastor Daniel Lewig and Pastor Conrad Prell co- officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service at the church. Her earthly remains will await the final summons of the Lord for her resurrection to Eternal Glory at Greenwood Cemetery in Reedsburg. In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Hillpoint would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff of the Sauk County Health Care Center for the kind and compassionate care given to Della.
