David Jurgensen Obituary
David Mark Jurgensen passed away on December 26, 2024, in Madison, Wisconsin. David was born the youngest child of Henry N. and Dorothea J. (Rosenwater) Jurgensen on September 14, 1944.
David graduated from Gays Mills High School and La Crosse College. He worked as a librarian at UW Madison for most of his career. In retirement, Dave enjoyed volunteering at Poynette Elementary, traveling, photography and gardening.
David’s parents preceded him in death along with his brother Wayne and brother-in-law Edwin. David was survived by his life partner, Kathryn Woodson; his children Scott, Jamie (Andrew), Jennifer (David); grandchildren Genevieve, Margot and Sam; his sister Mary; sister-in-law Marjie and many nieces and nephews.
