David Russell Champeau, 82 of Reedsburg, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023. He was born February 20, 1941.
He is survived by his wife Sandy; brother Darrell Champeau; brother & sister-in-law Len (Carol) Wagner and Pat Miller, special aunt LaVerne Wagner; nieces and nephew, Tammy (Danial) Phetteplace, Lori (Devin) Atkinson, Cristy (Matt) Reuter, Trisha (Derek) Yapp, Jeanette (Tim) Campbell, Antoinette Champeau, and Russell Champeau; great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and his furbabies, Teddy, Abby, Jake, Zeke & Sonny. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nora (Larsen) and Russell Champeau; sister Phyllis Champeau; niece Gloria Crockett; in-laws Alice Wagner and Alfred Wagner.
In accordance with Dave’s wishes, there will be a private family burial held at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Reedsburg. Memorials may be made to the Reedsburg Public Library or Sauk County Humane Society.
