Darlene E. Yohn, 82, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at U.W. Hospital in Madison. She was born December 1, 1938 in Horicon, the daughter of Albert and Edna (Schultz) Acker.
Darlene was united in marriage to Merlin Yohn August 1, 1959 in Columbus. She was employed at Tramburg Motors for 34 years and also the Fountain Prairie Town Treasurer for 34 years. Darlene loved crocheting, knitting, and putting puzzles together, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was an active member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Fall River.
Survivors include her husband Merlin; son Michael (Julie) Yohn; daughter Tami (Raymond) Schueler; grandchildren Alex Yohn, Taiya Schueler, Joshua Yohn, Matthew Yohn, and Melissa Yohn. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Merlin Jr., and step-mother Hattie Acker.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 11 at 11 AM at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Fall River with Rev. Tim Gumm officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of services at the church Saturday. Inurnment will take place in Fountain Prairie Cemetery at a later date.
