Daniel E. Bailey

Daniel E. Bailey, 94, of King/Pardeeville, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at ThedaCare in Waupaca. He was born June 21, 1927 in Milwaukee, the son of Lawrence and r Phyllis Bailey.

He was united in marriage to Rachel Mahoney May 6, 1950, Dan was employed as a furniture salesperson and interior designer for Steinhafels and Nelson Brothers from 40 years. He relocated to Naples, Florida and continued working at Robb and Stuckey Furniture. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Armed Forces during WWII. 

Dan is survived by his children Mary, Ann (Basil), Dan, and John (Lynne); 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; brother Tom and sisters Phyl and Peg. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Rachel, and brothers Mike and Pat.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 13 at 3 PM at St. Faustina Catholic Church in Pardeeville with Father T. Joji Reddy presiding. Inurnment will be held in Milwaukee at a later date. Visitation will be held from 2 PM until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Columbia County Humane Society in Daniel's memory.
