Connie Staveness Obituary
Connie L. Staveness (nee: Halverson) passed peacefully at home Friday, July 12, 2024 surrounded by her family. She recently celebrated 60 wonderful years of marriage with her husband Wayne L Staveness. Connie is also survived by her children, Janeen (Doug) Wynstra, Duane (Kelly) Staveness, and Cheryl (Joel) Knight; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and a great-granddaughter arriving later 2024.
A celebration of life will be held at the Bonnet Prairie Lutheran Church Tuesday, July 30 at 11 AM with Pastor Shelley Nelson officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, July 29 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Grasse Funeral Home in Rio and from 10 AM until the time of service Tuesday at the Church. Inurnment will follow at the Bonnet Prairie Cemetery in Rio. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Rio food Pantry: 104 Lincoln Ave. Rio, WI 920-992-5258 and Hope house- Baraboo: hopehousescw.org.
