Clifford R. Johnson

Clifford R. Johnson, 81 of Rio, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 29, 1940 in Madison, the son of Clifford A. and Adeline (Kreier) Johnson. 

Cliff was raised and grew up in Keyeser. He enjoyed gardening, reading, photography, and reading. 

Survivors include his wife Kathleen; daughters Wendie (Ken) Staveness and April (Skyler) Severson; sons Mitchell (Tina) Johnson and Thomas Johnson; seven grandchildren, and sister Jean Payne. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 5 at 2 PM at Grasse Funeral Home in Rio with Alan Vangen officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
