Christine Ann Heiking, age 64 of Reedsburg, WI passed away on Friday, October 18th, 2024 leaving a void her family cannot fill. 

Chris was born April 16th, 1960 daughter to Ronald “Jerry” and Alma (Schaefer) Hutchens. She graduated from Reedsburg High School. Most recently, she worked at Kwik Trip and enjoyed spending her time there joking around with both co-workers and customers. She would be sure give you the trademarked: “see ya next time”. 

She will be remembered for her contagious laugh, her love for her family, her superb cooking/baking and being one of the most selfless people you’d ever meet. She was a collector of pigs - knick knacks big or small, she liked them all. Chris loved crafting and painting and had so looked forward to spending time choosing her next projects with her brother, Alan. 

Chris left behind two daughters, Samantha (Jason) Erie and Hannah Heiking; her grandchildren who she loved dearly - Brycen Erie, Draven Heiking, Cooper Erie, Connor Herritz and Avery Erie; her brother, Alan (Trish) Hutchens; nieces and nephews: Jeremy (Amber) Hutchens, Leah (Mike) Lenear, Kelly Harmon-Hutchens, Carole McKinley and Tomas Hutchens. 

She leaves us to join her parents and her brother, Duane Hutchens (although he was quite sure she was either adopted or left by the gypsies); as well as beloved grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. 

In our hearts forever, we will carry her kindness, strength, and the memories she gifted us…love you more.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11 A.M at Grasse Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9 A.M until the time of service.
