Carole J. Gardehl, age 87, of Rio, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Columbus Hospital. She was born August 8, 1937 in Wonewoc, WI to Robert and Erma Stull.

Carole married Donald Gardehl in Wonewoc, WI. and also attended school in Wonewoc. She worked at the Casino Supper Club in Fall River for 40 years. She belonged to St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Fall River. Carole liked to be outdoors gardening and enjoyed watching the birds.

She is survived by her daughter Victoria (Scott) Brandenburg; granddaughter Melanie Penshorn; brothers Robert (Barb) Stull JR. and Michael (Cathy) Stull; and sister in law Kristy Stull. She was preceded by her husband Donald; father and mother Mike and Erma Stull; brothers Charles Stull and Richard Stull; and sister Patricia Schultz.

A memorial Service will be held Monday, June 9, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Grasse Funeral Home in Rio. Visitation will be held at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Columbia County Humane Society.
