Bruce J. Hepler

Bruce Jay Hepler, 53 of Pardeeville, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

The son of Donald and Beverly (Diehlmann) Hepler was born December 6, 1965 in Portage. He was baptized and confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rio. He graduated from Pardeeville High School and lived his entire life in Pardeeville. Bruce liked swimming, biking, his go-cart, and was a faithful Boy Scout and past paper boy. He worked at Pardeville FS, Poynette Iron Works, Shriver Auto Body, Madison Truck and Equipment and Johnson Sales and Service before starting Hepler Repair with his father and best friend, Don. He had a great talent for fixing, repairing, inventing, and coming up with solutions for many problems. He also loved four-wheeling and mudding with his jeep, old cars and trucks, street rods, deer hunting, and fishing. He did the cooking for the annual family picnics and had a loving and caring heart for all.

He is survived by his wife Kathy; sons Jacob (Tesha) and Jason (Crystal); two granddaughters, Alexus and Alice Rose’ brother Brian; nephew Brennen’ parents Don and Bev; mother-in-law Kristina; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, maternal grandparents, fraternal grandparents, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23 at 1 PM at Grasse Funeral Home, 119 Industrial Drive, Pardeeville with Rev. Ann Walsvik officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Pardeeville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until 12:30 PM before the services Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made for a grandchildren memorial fund.
