Brenda K. Goodenow

Brenda K. Goodenow, 57 of Portage, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 9, 2023. She was born July 8, 1966 in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of James and Shirley (Andrews) Goodenow. 

Brenda was very caring and helped anyone who needed it. She had a passion for animals. She loved getting together with family and friends and playing her vintage Nintendo. She had a dry sense of humor who could make anyone laugh. She enjoyed reading and listening to music. Brenda worked for Saint Gobain in Portage for 34 plus years. 

Survivors include her daughter Sarah Goodenow; grandchildren, Damian (Becca) Wojak, Cody Goodenow, and Athena Goodenow-DiBell-Luna; great granddaughter Ellaina Jade Marie Wojak; siblings, twin sister Sandy (Joe) Leonard, Ron (Laura) Goodenow, Patricia Parish, and Barry Berg and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her fiance Darrin Wianecki; granddaughter Jasmine Ramirez; her parents; brothers, Robert Goodenow and John Goodenow, and sister Pamela. 

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 17 at 1 PM at Grasse Funeral Home in Pardeeville with Rev. Jeremy Edmondson officiating. Interment will follow at Marcellon Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, October 16 from 4 to 7 PM at Grasse Funeral Home in Pardeeville and again from 11:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
